Outdoor adventurers can take advantage of all the local outdoor activities, such as kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and even floating hot tub rentals. And for those interested in exploring Seattle on two wheels, the Burke-Gilman Trail is accessible by walking across the street---providing another convenient source of transportation around Seattle. Visitors may delight in other seasonal charms, such as the spectacular views of the New Year’s Eve and 4th of July fireworks, a marvelous Holiday Boat Parade, and the Fremont Solstice events. For those sports fans out there, we are within walking distance of the Husky Stadium and the U-District Light Rail (which stops at all of the major stadiums in Seattle). This was my first time to the Seattle area and wanted to be close to the University for my son’s graduation from UW. I trusted my intuition to be close to the water, cool neighborhoods, parks and shopping. I was situated close to everything I could have wanted. Thank you for a lovely stay.
